The Committee on the Judiciary moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill No. 4307 – A Bill to amend and reenact §20-2-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to carrying a firearm for self-defense in state parks and state forests generally; providing exceptions; and clarifying that nothing in the section authorizes counties or municipalities to limit a person’s ability to possess, transfer over, carry or transport a firearm or ammunition.
